Wedding Dresses for 2013: Zankyou’s predictions for the latest bridal styles
The wedding dresses from the 2013 collections are nearly ready – the models are posing, photos being taken, the blogosphere is ready! And if you’re getting married in 2013, you’ll probably dying to find out what next year’s bridal collections will look like. So, in anticipation, here some of our most spectacular predictions…

While a lot of major British Bridal Brands will be launching their 2013 collections at The White Gallery in May, some global brands have already released some images of their new collections. They include Pronovias, Manuel Mota and La Sposa and we’re seeing romantic looks, with vintage-inspired pieces and lots of beautiful embellishment.

Pronovias showed some of the first pieces from its 2013 collection on Valentine’s day and showed that next year is the year for flowers, 1920s-inspired looks, textured layers with tulle and classic cuts, including strapless and assymetric.

La Sposa’s 2013 pre-colection is filled with pieces covered in microcrystals, layers of fabric and jewelled belts. We loved the simplicity of the cut complemented by the cutest of accessories – short veils, crown-like headpieces and fans.
And while Rosa Clará won’t show her new 2013 collection until Barcelona Bridal Week, after last year’s surprise with her 1980s gold lamé-inspired looks, 2013 is sure to be no less disappointing. Could it be the big year for 1920s-inspired looks from the Spanish designer?

We’ll have to wait and see what comes out, but we’re predicting heavy Art Deco and 1920s influence, pretty embellishment and lace lace lace! What about you?
