The sweetest bridal collection at The White Gallery 2012
Your wedding day – the sweetest day of your life, right? So what if your shoes were made of marshmallows, or your headwear of liquorice allsorts? It’d all be that so much sweeter…
The White Gallery, being held in London from 20-22 May 2012, which is showcasing a range of new British and international bridal collections for 2013 (and which is being covered by our very own Branwen!) has also launched a fun collection of candy-decorated dresses, headwear and shoes.
In celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee and the British love of traditional sweets. Using some of the UK’s best known brands, including Barratt sweets, Princess Marshmallows and Henry Goode, designers like Ian Stuart and Stephanie Allin have created dresses decorated in sugary delights. Accessories are also from Vivien Sheriff, Freya Rose, Harriet Wilde and Halo & Co.
Here’s a “taste” of what’s been created.

And if you suffer from fainting when nervous, perhaps these pieces are even worth contemplating for your big day – guaranteed to bring your blood sugar right back up in a jiffy!
