Romantic origami gowns at Jesus Del Pozo 2012

Jesus Del Pozo delivered yet another stunning collection at Barcelona Bridal Week, proving that he has what it takes to stay at the top. His 2012 collection had strong oriental influences and featured many classic bridal materials such as romantic lace with a fresh and modern twist.

Del Pozo’s generous use of texture gave the collection a luxurious feel whilst also proving the dresses to be delicate and feminine. His combination of lace, tulle and satin provided the gowns with a glamorous and grown up feel.

This new collection has a similar feel to his previous collections through his use of texture and femininity. However, this time he has given the collection an architectural feel by using dramatic shapes reminiscent of origami. His great partnership of strong shape and soft materials make this one stylish collection.

We at Zk Magazine feel that del Pozo has done the Spaniards proud and really shown that soft and romantic dresses can be edgy and sexy all at the same time.
If you’re liking this origami style, why not spread it out to the rest of your wedding look with these origami-inspired wedding invitations?
