Tim and Julian first clapped eyes on each other in the cosmopolitan neon city, New York! The couple known for their love of travelling met during a trip to New York a few years ago. In true glamorous style, the handsome couple are now living in the cultural capital London following their gorgeous wedding that took place at one of the most romantic venues and settings in France, The cliffs of Etretat in Haute-Normandie.
Tim being from England and Julien from France meant that the couple have always had to make compromises on where to live, work and even marry. Not only did they want something unique but also binding and with Gay marriage recently becoming legalised, they began the search for the perfect venue.
After a meticulous search, they came across a hidden gem in Fécamp, a town a few kilometers from Etretat where the ceremony took place. The couple were also fortunate enough to rely on Julien’s sister who lives in France and she was able to take care of the formalities that needed to be finalised.
Their dream day was upon them, 26th July, and what better way to start than to invite their nearest and dearest for a morning by the pool at their private venue. The couple and their guests relaxed and enjoyed one another’s company before the wedding took place later that day. Whilst the wedding party took a quick cool dip, the owner of the venue of the Domaine St Clair Donjon, was busily preparing and decorating the tables and drinks reception area, with complementing crisp white linen and red rose petals.
All the while, the handsome duo were preparing for the wedding together in a beautiful suite overlooking the ark of Etretat with no typical wedding traditions in sight of ‘not seeing the groom’ prior to the ceremony in sight. When everyone were finally suited and booted, the Grooms’ headed to the town hall in Fécamp in a luxurious Bentley that they had hired especially for the occasion, arriving in ultimate style.
The couple’s ceremony was hosted at an intimate and heartfelt ceremony fit for Kings in front of their closest friends and family. Although the ceremony was a private affair, here we have the pleasure and privilege of sharing part of their love story from behind the camera lens, by fantastic photos that were shot by Emmanuelle Auzou.
After a very emotional ceremony the couple and their guests returned to the venue where the celebrations started. Guests were greeted with a flute of champagne to toast the happy couple and shortly after, the wedding party took their seats to commence the wedding breakfast before the real celebrating in the evening begun.
The preparation, lead up, morning of the wedding and ceremony right through to midnight was a day full of love and emotion, shared and celebrated in style.
