Photos of Stewart Parvin 2012 wedding dresses – not just for royalty!

This year we at Zankyou have been obsessed with the Royal Weddings, from Kate and Wills to Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock. After Alexander McQueen and Giorgio Armani, another royal designer on everyone’s lips this summer was Stewart Parvin of London. Known for dressing Queen Elizabeth II, his classic designs have made us fall in love!
Today, take a look at seven of Parvin’s outstanding designs, the first four being from his new 2012 collection and the remaining three being from the classic collection. Ladies, are you sitting comfortably? Because you are about to be transported to the alluring world of Stewart Parvin couture…

Every girl dreams about her wedding dress, don’t they? Every little girl dreams of looking like Cinderella and I’d say wearing a Stewart Parvin creation will insure that indeed, you look and feel like a princess. I’d definitely wear one! Well, if he’s good enough for the royal family…

This dress is my personal favourite because the simplicity is genius. The subtle white lace under bust detailing creates a feminine contour whilst also giving the dress that extra something.

I find it quite ironic that the next three dresses you are about to see are in the classic collection because if you ask me, all seven gowns qualify as classic in my book. Each gown is timeless and each gown would make a bride feel special on the greatest day of her life.
When writing about a collection, I often imagine myself in the gown I’m describing. Honestly Zankyouers, this is the first collection I’ve written about where I can imagine myself purchasing and happily wearing every single gown.

Now, I’m not sure if you’ve caught on yet but I’m slightly in love with Stewart Parvin‘s delightful gowns. They’re lady-like, graceful, timeless, elegant and classy but above all they’re romantic. Because ladies, that’s what your wedding day is all about, isn’t it? Romance and love. And trust us, if you wear a Parvin gown on your day, you’ll be in love with it from the second you slip it on until the moment you proudly store it away. Oh, and they’re so classic, you won’t mind showing the snaps of your big day in twenty years’ time.
