Irregular Choice Part 1: 6 fabulous shoes for brides
This is part 1 in a series of posts designed to convince you that Irregular Choice shoes are the correct choice for a wedding whether you’re a bride, a guest or choosing bridesmaid shoes.
I was quite a latecomer when it comes to shoe love. I’ve always been interested in clothes, but it wasn’t until I was at university that I realised how important shoes can be. Cue irrational spending on beautiful shoes. There are two brands that I can blame for converting me to the shoe appreciation club – Converse and Irregular Choice.
Irregular choice shoes have many qualities. Some pairs are crazy, some daunting, sometimes I just can’t work out how they work, but they have some truly beautiful and utterly unique shoes, and I’ve been dying to share them with you.
In this first post I’ve chosen six wonderful options for brides. I don’t know about you, but I worry a little about how the wedding attire I choose will complement my personality and I’m certain that I will struggle to find the balance between the traditional, vintage side of me and the fun, unpredictable side. Choosing a brand like Irregular Choice, who have succeeded in making shoes fun by embracing kookiness and beauty in equal measure, is the ideal way of bringing individuality into whatever you decide to wear.
Enough talk, more shoes! I’m going to ease you in with these beauties – Can’t Touch This and Mrs Lower.

I love the clear heels and the floral appliques, but the devil is in the detail here. The delicate metallic pattern, the crochet touches, and the careful stitching make for truly beautiful shoes.
I think you’re ready for some colour. Meet Faithfully Yours and Royal Marriage.

The delicate green with a vibrant flash of fuschia would look amazing against a champagne coloured wedding dress. The bright Royal Marriage, however, would look best paired with a sharp white number that’s cut short enough to show them off!
For those of you who want to be even more daring, how about the adorable Daisy Dayz, or the extravagant Burlesque Beauty.

If these shoes have tickled your fancy, and now you’re in need of a beautiful wedding dress, why not browse through the 2012 collections. However, if you’re looking for interesting shoes for your bridesmaids (along with a range of colour and style combinations), you’ll love Part 2 of our Irregular choice series which is coming up soon!
