Shoes for vintage brides

Shoes are an important part of your bridal outfit, especially considering the recent fashion for shorter dresses. Most brides want to combine comfort and style, to make sure that they can stay on their feet all day while looking good!

We at Zk are always thinking about our brides and so are constantly researching into different designers who will help you decide on your look on your big day.

On one of our recent cyber-jaunts, we came across Harriet Wilde – a London-based designer whose seriously vintage looks will appeal to many of you out there.

Harriet Wilde is inspired by original 1950s styles and uses Fifties hat net as a decorative element on her shoes. One of her most popular styles it seems (due to the fact that some sizes are currently sold out according to the HW website!) is Charcas, which features a beautiful flower made from the net.

We at Zk are also particular fans of Maud – perfect with a ’50s style dress, such as the halterneck look.

All the shoes are designed by Harriet Wilde and made in Spain and can be bought from the website boutique. Prices range from £169.99-£199.99. A list of stockists can be found here.
