Eight great bridal shoes for a winter wedding
For the Winter Bride sometimes choosing the right shoe can be difficult, with the unpredictability of the winter weather not only do feet need to look good and stylish but they need to be warm and dry too. So what are the options?
Boots are a great option. From vintage Victorian style boots to modern style ankle boots, there are plenty of options to choose from to fit in with the style of the dress. Indulge in this season’s favourite trend of faux fur with some additional trimming.
Add some seasonal sparkle or Christmas colours like red or green or various shades of gold and ivory for a rich luxurious feel.
Of course the style of the dress will predict the style of the shoe. If a boot may appear too heavy or chunky, then an open toe Court is a great option. Perhaps with a little bit of embellishment to up the glamour or contrast a more plain Court with textured tights!
And of course for those days when you think the weather has finally beaten you, be the prepared bride with a great pair of backup wellies!
