A great example for your wedding reception, would be to create table names with the help of a tasty peach, a lemon, an orange or a green apple; this way, when your guests arrive at your reception venue, they can look for their names amongst the delicious fruits. This is definitely something they will never forget! If you want to take this theme to another level why not go all out with a fruit stall. A great alternative to a dessert table! Instead of a huge range of sweet treats, your guests can refresh themselves and feast upon a selection of seasonal fruits. Make sure you include a wide range of shapes and colours: bananas, cherries, watermelons, apples, strawberries… and always seasonal fruits when possible.

During your reception, let your tables really enhance your theme and style them with some vibrant, fruity centrepieces. It’s really important that you either stick to your chosen colours or chose contrasting colours that will complement each other and not clash. For example, peaches are a great colour choice for a vintage wedding; a good dose of oranges and lemons will add a touch of vibrance and zest to your wedding, while red fruits will create a completely rustic and warm feel for your special day. Why not choose your favourite fruits? Isn’t your wedding supposed to be all about you?

Don’t forget to include fruits into the bridal bouquet; some berries or a couple of satsumas will be enough to really add to the whole theme. For dessert, why not go for a naked cake with a minimalist look, so that you can then integrate matching fruits.

Remember, the sky’s the limit! What do you think? Are you feeling fruity? @Zankyou_UK
