Boudoir Photography – a very private wedding gift with amazing results
As a special treat today I’m going to give you a little peek at boudoir photography by Miss Boudoir. By now , the taboo surrounding boudoir has decreased dramatically and our society has finally begun to realise that there is a big difference between stripping and burlesque, erotica and porn, and, as this post aims to prove, Page 3 and boudoir.
In short, Boudoir photography can be described as tastefully shot images of a sensual nature, but it can also be playful, glamorous, saucy, private or provocative, but in every instance portraits are beautiful and wonderfully complement the female form.
A woman’s reasons for dipping a toe in the pool of boudoir photography can be very different, but whether you’re looking for gifts for your husband-to-be, or a way to express your femininity and independence before you take that trip down the aisle, the most important thing of all is being certain that you’ve chosen the right team of people to guide you through the experience.
Emma Jones is the creator and owner of Miss Boudoir and although she has vast experience in numerous fields of photography, her love of vintage and beauty make for exceptional boudoir shots. To ensure the comfort of all their subjects the only people in the room during a shoot are Emma, the subject and Danielle, the truly accomplished stylist who will bring out the confident pin-up in you!
I understand that most of us are a little too self-conscious to even think of posing at your most vulnerable (hell, I almost refused to shower after an aerobics class today because the changing rooms were so full!), however, if Gok Wan has taught us anything, it’s that everyone has beautiful bits, and I think the pictures here prove that Emma has the ability to accentuate a woman’s best parts. Why not browse through the vast gallery on her site (details below)? Every model looks utterly beautiful in every picture – that’s the mark of a true professional.
I think another reason why Miss Boudoir in particular has impressed me so much is the variety of shots available. You could go down the root of documenting your special day by having a wedding specific shoot, show your daring side in saucy poses, or opt for shots of a softer nature.
- Whatever the style, whatever the reason, the big questions is would you give it a go? For more information, why not check out the Miss Boudoir wedding site and get more information by contacting Emma on info@missboudoir.com or calling +44 (0) 161 222 6468.
