I love how natural it all is – from the beautiful surroundings to the no-fuss styling. When it comes to taking wedding photos there’s so much you need to remember and there’s always a certain number of photos that you’ll need to take, so it can be nice to keep engagement photos looking clean and simple. They are wonderful as pictures to cherish once you’re married to remind you of who you are as a couple.

Being true to yourselves is of the utmost importance when organising an engagement shoot, so be yourself! Wear what you love to wear, or wear something that you know your partner loves to see you in. You could take inspiration from this shoot because the bride to be has opted for a simple outfit and tops it all off with the cutest heart shaped pendant – perfect!

It also helps that the surroundings are so picturesque. The riverside pictures in particular make me long for home in rural north Wales!
