Adam Huckle was just 19 when he started his videography company, Adam Huckle Films, based in Bristol. He’s now an award-winning videographer who travels all over the UK shooting weddings.

We at Zankyou came across Adam thanks to his Marryoke work. These fun videos are a great memory for couples and their guests and look hilarious to make. So what is it that’s making Marryoke so popular right now?

“To use a tired old phrase, Marryoke videos are kind of like marmite, you will either love them or hate them,” says Adam. “We know they aren’t for everybody but gosh they’re a lot of fun to film! We’re usually very discreet and subtle when filming so it’s refreshing to do something a bit different which requires some taking charge! They are a lot of work but the final product makes it all worth while.”

A great song choice – It has to be something quite OTT, possibly a bit camp and something you know the words to.
Lots of spirit – If you’re going to do a marryoke, go the whole hog and really go for it. The more energy and spirit you put in to it, the better it’ll look.
Plenty of time – The longer you can allow for filming your marryoke video, the better!
