A farmhouse wedding that makes the most of the great outdoors
Getting married outdoors is a dream for a lot of couples. Backyard weddings are increasingly on trend and the informality of an open air ceremony and reception, especially when the weather’s good, creates the perfect mood.
Janelle and Greg decided to get married on a farm in Shady Pines Farm in Pensylvannia, United States. Their cute wedding captured the essence of a true farm wedding, with horses and other livestock, a barnyard and 3 border collies herding sheep.
Allenaim Photography captured this beautiful day, with its happy couple, combination of purples and a proper fiddle band in the shape of The Knuckle Dusters.
We just love this wedding, especially the casual look. As weddings get more informal, we think this idea of planning a day that’s ‘close to nature’ and where your guests can spend a casual day outdoors will catch on. Now we just have to guarantee the weather!
