This week, the city of love has dressed up to host yet again the Haute Couture proposals of the most relevant fashion brands on the international fashion scene. Do not miss out on this gallery the 100 most impressive looks of Paris Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2017. Do not miss out!
And the spectacular party dresses that we’ve seen can inspire you for the next wedding, whether you’re a guest or the bride herself. Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel has gone back to the past with a collection inspired by the 60s. Designs perfect for daytime with tweed as the star signature fabric, and other silhouettes with much more structure, full of volume, embellishments and feathers – ideal for nighttime. Maria Grazia Chiuri, has been inspired for her first collection for Dior by a fairy-tale in which the black queens and the delicate nymphs can’t be overlooked. We saw long, ethereal and very feminine robes, evasé skirts and shirts with elements of transparency. Volume has also been key to the new haute couture collections of Giambattista Valli and Viktor and Rolf, who have opted for a blend of textures and colours. In Giambattista‘s case, floral prints are the protagonists of his romantic designs. As for Viktor and Rolf, they use tulle to implement the most creative designs. Zuhair Murad, Elie Saab and Galia Lahav, follow similar ideas and stay in line with the style that has defined them throughout their career. Very sexy party dresses, full of bead-work and embellishments, authentic collectors’ jewels. Not forgetting Valentino, who presented a selection of designs that began with simple silhouettes ending with more tailored looks and rich fabrics.
A week that has given us a lot and from which we show you our 100 favourite designs. 100 stunning looks that we can see on the Spring-Summer 2017 Paris Haute Couture catwalk. You have to see them!
