Hi Kate.
You can't get any better than the Armani range of foundations. We use this product all the time on our shoots and for our brides. Will last all day and no need to heavily powder. Check out D & D make up to have a look at some of our examples.

Hi,
Your theory is right! I just found this answer on Suite101: "Many foundation makeup products are made with a sun protection factor (SPF). While this is great for skin, in photos, SPF creates a problem. SPF protects the skin in two ways, one of which is reflecting light away from the skin. When the flash from a camera goes off, the SPF in foundation makeup reflects the light from the flash. In wedding photos, the result is the appearance that the face of the bride is brighter than the rest of her skin, or that it appears too shiny, as if the skin is oily." Apart from some of the other obvious tips like matching your skin colour, the article also recommends you avoid mineral makeup as it also reflects light. It's quite a good article and worthwhile reading. Here's the link to read it in full: www.suite101.com/content/wedding-makeup-and-pho... Hope that helps!

Advice about the best make-up foundation for flash photographs?
Are there specific properties you should look for in your foundation to look your best in your wedding photographs? I once appeared ghostly white in a set of flash photographs and the only thing I could think of was that it was the sunscreen in my foundation but I haven't found anything to confirm my theory. I'd hate to look like that in my wedding photographs. Any tips on what foundation is best for flash photographs would be great.
