Get married in an underwater world!

The National Marine Aquarium is the largest public aquarium in the UK welcoming 300,00 visitors per year (including the 30,000 school students who engage with our innovative Just Add H2O Schools Programme). Our awe-inspiring exhibits, featuring marine animals from near and far, provide an environment that intrigues, inspires and motivates our visitors to engage with our conservation messages and hopefully do their bit to help protect the marine environment.

As a self funded charity The National Marine Aquarium has a range of business pillars that support our charitable work and mission to drive marine conservation.

At the Aquarium, their events team cater for everything from weddings to corporate banking events and even 90th birthday parties. Your wedding will be unforgettable with this unique venue choice. Our scientists have proven the therapeutic properties of aquariums, so why not relax in the grandeur of the UK’s largest and add a stunning £22million backdrop to your event or special occasion. At the same time, you can rest easy that your booking will help to support our marine conservation efforts.

Parking

Please note: the harbour car park is pay & display and there are no change facilities. We recommend that visitors plan to spend 3 hours (cost £4.20) at the Aquarium. The car park has payment by phone and contactless payment, or you can book online in advance here.

Why not leave the car at home and travel to the Aquarium more sustainably? We are just a 15-minute walk from the city centre through the historic Barbican and on all local bus routes.
